Teresa Hamilton is having a rough year—she’s in love with her big brother’s best friend, but he hasn’t spoken to her since they shared a truly amazing, mind-blowing, change-your-life kiss. She got out of a terrible relationship. And now an injury is threatening to end her dance career for good. It’s time for Plan B – college. And maybe a chance to convince Jase that what they have together is real.
Jase Winstead has a huge secret that he’s not telling anyone. Especially not his best friend’s incredibly beautiful sister. Even though he and Teresa shared the hottest kiss of his life, he knows that his responsibilities must take priority. He certainly doesn’t have time for a relationship. But it doesn’t help that all he can think about kissing the one girl who could ruin everything for him.
As they’re thrown together more and more, Jase and Tess can’t keep denying their feelings for each other. But a familiar danger looms and tragedy strikes. As the campus recovers, the star-crossed couple must decide what they’re willing to risk to be together, and what they’re willing to lose if they’re not…
I was more in love of this book that the previous one. It was lovely, charming, sweet and wonderful read. May of you know that I’m a huge fan of JL Armentrout (a.k.a J. Lynn), her writing is fantastic, her characters very real and lovable, and all her stories could be very different of any out there. She is just magnificent. And every book of her is just a piece of art.
Be with me is the second book of the Wait for You Series. This is the book of Jace and Tessa (Cam’s best friend and sister). They share a kiss once of those times Jace was at her home, and that’s masker forever. But since then, Jace hadn’t call or make any contact with her, which makes her doubt if really means something to him. Then she saw her dream of be a professional dancer falls apart thanks to a injury in her knee, she has to goes for the plan B, and that is go to college (The very same as Cam and Jace).
But as excited as sound that she’ll reunite with Jace, things never are so simple. He makes very clear that he doesn’t feel the same as her but act quit differently, but again avoiding her as the viral. Her brother is so annoying about her goes to parties, her rommie has a difficult boyfriend situation, her classes become more and more complicate, all of that as she struggle to goes back to dace.
With all of that, I LOVE THIS BOOK. I think that even was better than the first one. The story was lovely; it’s so enchanting since the beginning.
When we speak about the plot, we can’t say that is very much original. I mean, this genre has lot of books with the same argument (the girl been abused by the boyfriend, or the girl rape by a guy, whatever, something like that) and right now is very difficult to find one that isn’t. But is not about what talks about (Though, I like that this could be told cause there’s so many girls that don’t have a way to speak about what they living and need some support), is the way that it told which makes the difference.
So, Miss Armentrout has a special way to tells stories which caught you since the very start; her way of write is flawless, easy, and lightly, so you’re understand very well all that is happening, but also made it complex enough so you don’t get bored. Also all the situations and scenes she create with the characters fix very well together, you’re going to find different things is this book. Some love, joy, humor, drama, suspense, a little bit of everything.
But also life lessons. I think it is the most important part of the entire book, how she made you think about abusive relationships and how is important to overcome them and live a life out of that viral circumstances.
I like the characters very much, and I think that even more than Wait for Me. I mean, Cam and Avery was wonderful in the first book but, Jace and Tessa are even better. Both girls lived a hard situation in the past and both rise above that, but Tessa has a beautiful aura around her, a light in her path that makes her unique and lovely. And Jace (although I like how Cam treats Avery the most) is a very good man, and you’ll see why; he has his own issues but even then he care about Tessa very much. I love the cupcake box!!
The romance between the two of them is just beautiful. No more words…
Overall, this was a extraordinary read, just like Jenn give us often. Is just one word: Wonderful.
I give it 5 hearts

About The Author
All the rumors you heard about her state aren’t true.
Well, mostly. When she's not hard at work writing, she spends her time, reading, working out, watching zombie movies, and pretending to write.
